Out of Office mode is now included in Google Calendar

There is very big good news for all GSuite users. Till now it was not an easy task to restrict working hours for each day separately and inform colleague that you are not available in office for 2 days or 1 week. But now Google has introduced an "Out Of Office" mode in Google calendar through which we can easily manage our working hours.

With help of this feature, you can restrict your daily working hours. Suppose you are coming to office at 8:00 am and leaving at 4:00 pm on Monday to Wednesday but for Thursday and Friday you are coming at 7:00 am and leaving at 3:00 pm. So you can set these timings to your working hour settings. Earlier we were able to set timings for entire week but now we can set for each day separately. Once you have setup your working hours then if anybody will try to schedule a meeting with you then google calendar will automatically deny the meeting.

Isn't it a great thing? Now we don't have to worry about meeting scheduled beyond working hours. google calendar will manage it and automatically deny it based on our availability.

Apart from that, we can also set an Out of Office for few days or weeks. In this feature we can select number of days on which we will not be in office in calendar and can set out of office for those selected days. If anybody will email you or schedule a meeting with you, he/she will get automatic reply that you are not available in office. Even we can set up custom message as well to drop in that automatic reply.

Custom working hour and Out of office features will really add values for all GSuite Users. I know that actual time can deviate in case where we have to meet deadline of project. But in regular days it's really helpful.
